The Apprentice viewers think they’ve noticed a major change when the show returned on Thursday night.
It is the first time Lord Alan Sugar has been seen in the boardroom since 2019 after last year’s show was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Joined by Baroness Karen Brady and new aide Tim Chapman, the businessman began his search for his next business investment.
The sixteen candidates began their journey to bagging a £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar by on board a luxury cruise ship.
Their task was to come up with marketing campaigns for a new cruise liner, including creating a brand and a television advert.
The candidates were split into a boys and girls team and headed off to come up with their ideas with varying degrees of success.
Fast-forward to the end of the episode, it was the girls who became the winners of the first task and it was the boys who had to fight for their place in front of Lord Sugar.
But before they found out their fate, it was a case of waiting outside the boardroom and The Apprentice viewers were quick to point out a change.
And it wasn’t that Claude Littner had been replaced by Tim.
@oliverwhte tweeted: “New receptionist alert #theapprentice.”
“New receptionist getting her holiday spreadsheet up and running early doors #theapprentice,” @aceofherts5 said.
@EniCoreBlimey shared: “They got a different receptionist #TheApprentice.”
“Ooo new receptionist #TheApprentice,” @KayodeDamali commented.
@coolagrawal1999 shared: “They’ve changed the receptionist? Why.. Why.. Why.. #TheApprentice.”
And the new receptionist has come forward to confirm who she is.
Ashley Young took to Twitter with a photo of herself at the desk, writing: “Lord Sugar will see you now.
“Really excited to share with you all that I had the honour of being the receptionist on #TheApprentice this year.”
