Corrie spoilers as Kelly is in danger and there’s a shock for Jenny at Johnny’s funeral

Kelly Neelan’s life is far from a bed of roses after being released from prison on Coronation Street.

There’s drama in the soap next week when she meets up with Amy Barlow in the cafe and steals her phone, prompting the wrath of her mum Tracy.

Imran sticks up for Kelly, but when Amy’s phone rings in her bag, Kelly is bang to rights.

After returning to Weatherfield Kelly ended up in supported living accommodation when her foster parents Imran Habeeb and Toyah were forced to choose between her and new foster child Elsie and she opted to go.

Carla Barlow and Jenny Connor each gives a heartfelt eulogy

Imran and her friend Aadi Alahan call at Kelly’s accommodation only to find her stuff gone.

Lonely and frightened, Kelly beds down in a shop doorway for the night and she finds herself in grave danger.

As Kelly’s phone rings with a call from Imran, she enters a hotel and plugs her phone into a socket in the foyer to charge the battery.

But when the hotel receptionist approaches, demanding to know which room she’s staying in, another guest Alan comes to her rescue.

He tells her she’s welcome to knock on his bedroom door any time and Kelly flees the hotel.

The day of Johnny’s funeral arrives

She returns to the shop doorway only to find what few things she had have been stolen.

Dev and Asha persuade a reluctant Aadi to join them for lunch, unaware that Kelly is desperately trying to call him.

Feeling that she has no other option, Kelly returns to the hotel and knocks on Alan’s bedroom door.

Also, it’s the day of Johnny Connor’s funeral and his ex wife Jenny receives a shock – she’s the sole beneficiary in Johnny’s will

and he’s left her £20k.

Tim Metcalfe visits his daughter Faye

And the villainous Ray Crosby is back on our screens as Debbie visits the sleazy hotelier in prison and tells him that unless he pleads guilty to sexually assaulting Faye, she’s going to report him to the police for the death of Johnny.

Elsewhere Tyrone Dobbs meets up with newcomer Isla for lunch in Speed Daal and they immediately hit it off.

But as the pair head out of Speed Daal, a man approaches and explaining that he’s Isla’s husband, punches Tyrone, sending him flying.

Nick Tilsley tells his son Sam that they’re moving back to the flat, but when Max Turner makes some insensitive remarks relating to Natasha’s death, Nick’s furious.

And there’s a choking drama as a horrified Summer Spellman, together with Roy Cropper and Nina Lucas, watch Max’s film – a documentary of the night of the sewer collapse, suggesting a conspiracy theory linking Johnny’s and Natasha’s deaths.

Daniel and Daisy

Summer rails at Max, demanding he take down his terrible video for Sam’s sake, if nothing else.

Lily locks Sam out on the balcony and dangles the key in front of him.

As Lily sucks on a lollipop and taunts Sam through the glass door, suddenly the lollipop comes away from the stick causing Lily to choke.
