Coronation Street’s Julia Goulding had a sweet response to her co-star picking up an award.
The Shona Platt actress was full of praise for soap icon David Neilson, or Roy Cropper to many a viewer.
The 72-year-old, who has starred in the ITV soap for 26 years, was awarded the Best Soap Actor gong at the TV Choice Awards on Monday night.

“This is very exciting,” David added as he battled with the paper.

Summer Spellman actress Harriet Bibby added: “What a joy.”
Fans were also thrilled.
