Many parents may be feeling the same way as Gemma Atkinson after a family member brought her daughter a noisy gift.
The Hollyoaks star has been enjoying the festive season with two-year-old Mia and fiance Gorka Marquez.
And the doting parents have been helping their little girl make use of her Christmas presents.
Gemma, 37, took to Instagram to share a video clip of her playing a bright pink recorder and Mia watched on from their bed.
“Still got it… ish,” she commented as she belted out a tune on the classic musical instrument.
The next video showed Mia giving her new present a go with Gemma writing: “My sister got her this for Christmas.
“It may have to ‘go missing,” she added with a monkey covering eyes emoji and crying laughing face emoji.
It was then Gorka’s turn to have a go on the recorder with Gemma, from Bury, heard asking him: “What is it you’re playing?”
He laughs and says: “The flute,” leading to Gemma laughing and saying: “No, what song I mean.”
The Strictly Come Dancing star tells his fiancee that he’ll give her a rendition of Titanic to which she replies: “Off you go then… maestro.”
He then said it was dedicated to co-star Giovanni Pernice and his dance partner Rose Ayling-Ellis after they performed a Foxtrot to Rose’s Theme from Titanic during Movie Week.
Gorka, 31, started off quite well before things got a little out of tune, as pointed out by his other half.
He then gives it another go with Gemma putting a sticker over her Instagram Story video which read: “Pain.”
On Christmas Day Gorka took to his own Instagram page with a gorgeous family snap.
It showed himself with Gemma and Mia as they posed next to their Christmas tree in matching festive jumpers, alongside one of their beloved pet dogs.
“FELIZ NAVIDAD everybody!!” the Spanish wrote to his followers.
“Have a wonderful time with your loved ones and for those that can’t due to the circumstances we send you all our love.
“PS: Mia face says it all… papa, mummy stop being cheesy.”
On Wednesday Gemma also spoke about her family’s reaction to Mia over Christmas.
Sharing a clip of her daughter playing on a seesaw in their Greater Manchester home, the mum-of-one said: “All my family at Christmas were saying how much Mia is like me/how I was except ‘she’s very dainty’.
“Apparently I wasn’t [laughing face emojis]. Gorka was/is though so I’d say she’s a good mix.”
She then added: “She looks so dainty on this from my sister though,” referring to the video playing in the background.
