Happy Mondays star Bez shares beautiful moment he got engaged to partner Firouzeh

Bez has shared the beautiful moment he popped the question to partner Firouzeh Razavi.

And she said YES!

The Happy Mondays star, whose real name is Mark Berry, took to Instagram on Sunday evening to share the happy news.

Bez, 57, got down on one knee at the top of a mountain after a hike followed by a picnic.

The musician also took children, Arlo, 30, Jack, 28, and Leo, 13, along for the proposal as well as Firouzeh’s family.

Bez shared multiple pictures of the moment on Instagram with a shocked Firouzeh, 34, who is also a musician, clasping her hand over her mouth and looking down at her ring.

Another showed the show family celebrating, including with a cake which read “HoneyBun” with a close-up of the sparkling ring.

“My lovely Firouzeh said ‘yes’,” Bez shared alongside the sweet images. “What a lovely day with my boys, close friends and Firouzeh’s family.

“Picnic and proposed on top of the mountain.”

And the messages for the newly-engaged couple have been flooding in.

Rowetta said: “So happy for you both@bezmondays & @firouzehsings xxx.”

“Absolutely beautiful. Congratulations,” a fan added.

Another said: “Gorgeous congratulations.”

“Oh Wow…. congratulations,” a third added.

Fans will be seeing more of Bez on-screen soon as he was recently announced as one of the Dancing On Ice 2022 contestants.

Bez’s place on the show was confirmed last week on This Morning as he appeared out of a snowball on the programme.

He then chatted to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who also front the ITV skating show.

The maraca-shaking musician joked: “At the moment, it’s more like Bambi on ice, not Dancing On Ice. How I got picked, I don’t know because I was absolutely awful at the audition – but they must have seen something there, some potential.”
