Holly Willoughby has annoyed fans after sharing snippets of her day from a forest.

The TV star and co-host Phillip Schofield brought This Morning to viewers from a brand new location today.

The presenters and crew ditched the ITV studio for the forest – and not just any forest.

It is actually This Morning’s very own forest.

Earlier this month the hosts revealed that the ITV programme bought the woodland area as part of a drive to “go green” and stop the woodland from ever being built on.

And to show it off, Holly and Phil hosted Thursday’s show from there.

The show began following a new pre-title sequence and the hosts were beaming dressed in their outdoor wear.

“Good morning and welcome to our This Morning forest,” Holly began. “That felt nice – our forest! This is our second home… It’s a special place.”

Phillip added: “It really is ours! We’ve bought it so that we can do our bit to help the animals and plants that live and thrive here and we want to protect the trees for years to come.”

Holly, who was wearing jeans, an outdoor jacket and fedora hat, went on to say: “There is a big reason that we are here, after the last eighteen months we have all fallen in love with the great outdoors.”

Phillip said: “We on This Morning have enjoyed the fresh air more than ever…”

The programme featured many of its usual segments but with a twist.

James Martin went foraging for wild mushrooms before rustling up wild mushroom flatbreads, Alison Hammond became one with nature when she met tree hugging guru Jim Tubbs-Galley, and the show ended with Lisa Snowdon explaining more on sustainable fashion items currently on the market.

There was even a special woodland edition of ‘Spin to Win’ with one lucky viewer winning £1500.

Before signing off, Holly said: “We are just going to stay here a bit longer and continue to enjoy the woodland, it’s been a special morning.”

Phillip commented: “We are all very chilled… see you Monday!”

The pair have also posted various snaps on social media from their day, including them both doing a spot of tree-hugging.

But it was one of Holly’s posts that infuriated fans the most.

Holly was at one with nature

The 40-year-old gave fans a glimpse of what’s to come ahead of the show going live by sharing her This Morning from the forest script with fans as she travelled to the destination.

“Nature incoming…@thismorning #fromtheforest,” Holly told her millions of Instagram followers as she gave a peek at her outfit with walking boots, and thick socks.

But fans were left distracted by Holly’s photo.

“Boots are gorgeous but get them off the seat please,” one commented.

Another said: “One of my pet hates I’m afraid people who put their shoes on car/train/taxi seats! Nice boots though.”

“Please show respect and get your feet down. Someone else will sit on that seat. This has surprised me about you,” a third exclaimed.

A fourth joked: “I can hear my mother saying ‘get your feet off the seat!!'”

Fellow TV presenter Jake Humphrey also said: “I hope those boots are clean!! “
