Holly Willoughby shares wish for ‘normality’ in ‘rollercoaster’ New Year message

Holly Willoughby has shared a New Year’s message with her followers after ‘rollercoaster’ year.

The This Morning host hasn’t forgot her fans as she remains off air over the festive break.

Holly and her co-host Phillip Schofield last appeared on the ITV daytime show on Christmas Day in a pre-recorded special.

However, they actually wrapped up their 2021 presenting duties a whole week before that with Vernon Kay, Josie Gibson, and Rochelle Humes stepping in their place.

But back to the brand new year ahead and Holly, 40, is asking for a bit of ‘normality’.

Resharing a post from her Wylde Moon brand’s Instagram account, the mum-of-three wrote to her 7.5m followers: “Happy New Year… what do I wish for … a bit of consistent normality…

“I know the one constant is self but it would be nice if 2022 could let us off the rollercoaster for just a bit…”

She handed the message alongside a stunning photograph of her sat on a lit-up crescent moon, “Sending you and yours huge love.”

Holly’s fans were soon responding to her post with their own comments.

“Thank u for keeping our spirits up continuously for the past two years! we’re all so thankful,” @rhea.ku said.

Earlier this week Holly revealed how she has always been destined for life in the spotlight.

The TV star, who started her career as a model before landing a job as a children’s TV presenter, has revealed the ‘weird’ moment she was told she’d find fame.

She said a psychic told her she’d be a household name during a chat on her By The Light Of The Moon podcast.
