I’m A Celebrity fans have already named winner ahead of ITV return

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here 2021 hasn’t even started yet but fans appear to have found their winner.

Hosts Ant and Dec will be welcoming a new bunch of celebs to Gwrych Castle when the reality show returns this weekend.

The 21st series will begin on Sunday night on ITV and the ten famous faces heading to north Wales have been revealed.

Louise Minchin, Richard Madeley and Dame Arlene Phillips are heading to the castle after signing up for I’m A Celeb.

This year’s cohort of stars also includes Olympic gold medallist diver Matty Lee, Radio 1Xtra DJ Snoochie Shy, chart-topping music producer Naughty Boy and Paralympic gold medal athlete, Kadeena Cox.

Former Premier League footballer David Ginola, Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge and Emmerdale actor Danny Miller complete the line-up.

The line-up was officially confirmed by ITV on Monday night and in a few weeks time, it’ll be time for the King or Queen of the Castle to be crowned.

But I’m A Celebrity fans are already naming the winner.

The Emmerdale star is getting set to pull himself away from his newborn son as he swaps baby bliss for the Welsh castle.

Best known for playing Aaron Dingle in the ITV soap, Danny will be leaving behind his fiancée Steph Jones and their first child Albert, who was born in October, when he appears on the show.

After lots of discussions with Steph, Danny eventually decided to say yes to the show.

“I’m A Celebrity is the biggest show in the country and I want to show people what I am like as Danny rather than as Aaron,” he says.

“It will be nice for people to see me not crying but having a laugh! I am a fun guy at home and I’ve been known as Aaron now for 13 years – it’s good to step outside your comfort zone.”

But there’s one thing he doesn’t want to do.

“I am sh*t scared of the eating trials,” he says. “I can’t even brush my teeth without being sick and I am dreading it if my gagging reflexes start, but that said, it won’t stop me doing the trials!”

Back to the early favourite to win, the bookies have loose Women star Frankie Bridge down as favourite to be crowned Queen of the Castle.

Bookmakers Betfair and Ladbrokes are offering odds of 4/1 on The Saturday’s singer being crowned Queen of the Castle.

The 32-year-old is taking part after her husband, former footballer Wayne, competed on the show in Australia in 2016.

Coronation Street’s Simon Gregson is in second place with both companies offering odds of 9/2 on him winning the forthcoming 2021 series.

The soap legend and EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt have not been confirmed as competing but are rumoured to be joining the cast to complete the usual 12-strong line-up.
