I’m A Celebrity winner Danny Miller finally gets welcome home party two weeks after final

Danny Miller finally got his welcome home party – more than two weeks after winning I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

The former Emmerdale star was crowned the first-ever King of the Castle earlier this month as the 19th series of the ITV reality show came to an end.

Danny, known for playing Aaron Dingle in the ITV soap, spent three weeks in the castle after joining the line-up with 11 other celebrities.

The actor was up against singer and Loose Women star Frankie Bridge and Coronation Street icon Simon Gregson for the I’m A Celeb 2021 title.

But soon after he escaped the clutches of I’m A Celebrity bosses and headed home from the castle, he ended up in isolation.

The 30-year-old’s fiancee Steph Jones ‘caught Covid’ days after he returned home, he said on Instagram at the time.

He said he would be isolating with Steph, 30, and their newborn, Albert.

The new dad, who shares eight-week-old Albert with Steph, has now been able to have his welcome home party after his family’s original plans were scuppered.

Danny headed to a friend’s pub for the occasion

Danny shared a snap alongside Steph with his hundreds of thousands of Instagram while enjoying the celebration.

“So @stephjones1710 and the family organised a welcome home party we finally got round to tonight at our good friends pub @thebuxtoninngx and I couldn’t be happier,” he shared in the caption of the post.

As the pair grinned for the camera in the pub in front of a TV screen which showed Danny in his camp attire, he added: “Thanks once again to everyone who made this happen!!

“All the love from me and mine.”

Steph and Danny celebrated his latest win

Steph, a midwife in Manchester, also shared the snap to her own Instagram page and said: “Welcome home Danny. Celebrating the king!”

The loved-up couple were then videoed enjoying a dance and a kiss as they celebrated his recent win.

The celebration came after the new parents shared their first Christmas with their baby son.

They headed to Manchester’s The Refuge with their loved ones for a slap-up Christmas meal.

Posing with Steph and their little boy in front of a Christmas tree, Danny shared with his followers: “Merry Christmas! Thank you @therefugemcr for such an amazing day.”
