Frankie Bridge has revealed all from isolation after she was confirmed to be taking part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me out of Here!
The singer turned Loose Women panellist is one of the ten famous faces heading to the castle for the ITV reality show’s 21st series.
Frankie, 32, will join the likes of Richard Madeley, Louise Minchin and Danny Miller when the show kicks off on Sunday night.
Hosts Ant and Dec will be back to welcome the new batch of celebrities to Gwrych Castle as they film in Wales for a second year running.
After the line-up was officially revealed, Frankie shared a video to her social media pages – or should we say husband Wayne Bridge, who appeared in the show in 2016.
The message read: “#ImACeleb – it’s official! Frankie is heading into the @imacelebrity castle!
“We are so excited to see how she does but we’re missing her like mad already. We’ll be here to bring you all the insider scoop! Love, Frank’s biggest cheerleader.”
Speaking in the video, Frankie says: “Hi guys. If you’re watching this then you all know I’m going into the I’m A Celeb castle,” she began. “What was I thinking?
“I have been in isolation for two weeks in Wales. The boys, and Wayne, came for six days and obviously had to go back to school so it’s just been me and my little Turbo [her dog] here for the rest of the time.
“And I’m so ready to get into that castle. I am terrified and excited in equal measure but I’m so fed up of being on my own and thinking about what to expect.”
Frankie then admitted she’s “scared of everything” before adding: “I’m the girl who can’t even eat ketchup, what was I thinking?
“But I like to push myself, prove myself wrong, and prove my fears and anxieties wrong and feel the fear and do it anyway.”
She revealed that she was having her phone and computer taken away from her last night (Monday).
“Then I’ll really be on my own,” Frankie added before admitting the hardest part will be missing Wayne and her two children – Parker, eight, and six-year-old Carter.
“Wish me luck,” she ended the video before adding a message to her three boys at home.
“Hope you enjoy, I hope there will be lots of laughter. And boys, be good for daddy and daddy, look after my Instagram well.”
The Saturday’s singer is currently favourite to be crowned Queen of the Castle before the series has even begun.
Frankie is joint 4-1 favourite according to William Hill with Coronation Street’s Simon Gregson, who has played hapless Steve McDonald on the ITV soap for 32 years, her biggest competition – if he enters the castle.
The Corrie favourite was rumoured to be appearing in I’m A Celeb but wasn’t announced as part of the line-up, fuelling suspicions he could be a later addition.
