Inside Robbie Williams’ £6.75m countryside mansion – with a huge pool, tennis courts and helicopter pad

Over recent years the fascination with viewing the most expensive, multi-million pound homes on property sites has accelerated.

It then becomes all the more interesting when you come across a home owned by a celebrity, giving you a rare glimpse into their luxury lifestyle.

Robbie William’s incredible countryside mansion in Wiltshire is currently listed on Rightmove for £6.75 million, and was the most-viewed home on the site in October.

The former Take That star and his wife Ayda put their Compton Bassett house up for sale in September this year – but it hasn’t sold just yet.

The couple are selling their beloved family home due to spending much more time abroad, according to Somerset Live.

Across a whopping 71 acres of land, the seven-bed period home has a range of phenomenal features.

On the lower ground floor of the home lies a huge leisure complex with a 73-foot indoor swimming pool, a fully-equipped gym, both male and female changing rooms, a hot tub, steam room and a sauna.

The ground floor of the home has a large kitchen, dining room, drawing room, two studies, one sitting room and three bedrooms – one being the master bedroom suite with its own sitting room, two dressing rooms and two en-suites.

Up on the first floor is the remaining four bedrooms, each with their own sitting room, dressing room and en-suite.

On this floor there is also a library that spans the central corridor.

Separated from the main house, there are also two self-contained flats and a detached cottage.

Outside, the property has its own helicopter pad, a workshop, a tennis court, grass football pitch, paddocks, woodland and immaculate gardens with a water feature.

When putting their home on the market, Robbie and his wife Ayda said: “ Compton Bassett House is most definitely a family friendly house that deserves to have much more laughter and joy within its beautiful walls.

“We hope the incoming purchaser will enjoy just as much as we have.”

Robbie’s mansion was the most-viewed property on Rightmove last month, whether that be from eagle-eyed fans or multi-millionaires hoping to snap up the singer’s home.

Second to Robbie’s home was this six-bed townhouse in the city of Glasgow – on the market for £1.5m.

Next in the top five most-viewed homes on Rightmove was a £15 million Hampshire estate, with 118 acres of gardens and woodland.

The fourth most popular property was a unique six-bed retreat in the Cotswolds, available to buy for the first time since 1940 for £7.5m.

Last on the list was this unique-looking Scandinavian-style home in Littlehampton, on the market for a much cheaper price of £765,000.

Rightmove’s Property Expert Tim Bannister said: “From Robbie Williams’ Wiltshire mansion, to a sprawling estate in the heart of the Cotswold’s, Britain’s fascination with amazing homes continues.

“Interestingly, alongside the extraordinary look and feel of all these properties, they are all also set in a variety of beautiful, scenic locations – from the suburbs of Glasgow down to the countryside of Hampshire.”
