Phillip Schofield looked happy on Father’s Day as he was spoilt by his two daughters. The This Morning host was treated by Ruby and Molly on Sunday to mark the annual occasion.
He revealed that his girls “treated him to lunch” as he shared a rare insight into his home life on Instagram. Phillip, 60, took to the photo-sharing platform to share the sweet family snap with his three million followers.
“My girls are treating me to lunch,” Phillip wrote with the hashtag #fathersday. It showed the TV star planted between his two girls, Molly, 29 and Ruby, 26 whom he shares with wife Stephanie Lowe, who he married in 1993.
While Phillip keeps his social media page very private with fans unable to comment, his This Morning co-host and best pal Holly was able to respond, simply writing: “Awww,” with a red heart emoji. Her sister Kelly echoed Holly by commenting: “Ahhhhhhh gorgeous photo!”
Meanwhile Ruby continued to shout about the love she has for her dad, writing: ” LOVE YOUUU,” alongside a string of different emojis. The snap showed Phillip with his arms firmly placed around his daughter’s as he smiled for the camera in a powder blue jumper. Molly and Ruby were equally as smiley either side of him, looking almost identical with their blonde locks and bright smiles.
Phillip also shared a sweet clip of Molly as a little girl. It showed the then-toddler using a phone, appearing to be speaking to her dad. The post had originally been shared by his oldest daughter who said: “Happy Father’s Day @schofe. Hope you got that kiss through the phone.”
He then posted the clip of his first born with his millions of followers and said: ” I got that kiss and all the others @mollyschofe … they don’t make heart emojis big enough.”
Phillip shares Molly and Ruby with Steph, who he met on-set BBC children’s television where she worked as a production assistant. And their two girls have followed in their parents footsteps by branding into impressive media careers. Youngest daughter Ruby graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a psychology degree, having also completed an internship at ITV.
Phillip’s daughter Molly branched into talent management and brushes shoulders with celebrities at YMU Group – the largest management company in the world. And during an episode of This Morning last year, Phillip revealed that his daughter is Sort Your Life Out star Stacey’s talent agent.
