Jamie Redknapp has given his mum a slight telling off after she posted a sweet family snap he didn’t quite approve of.
The former footballer has been celebrating his first Christmas with his newborn son, Raphael.
Jamie and new wife Frida Andersson welcomed their first child together last month.
Baby Raphael has two older brothers, Charley and Beau, from Jamie’s previous marriage to Eternal singer Louise.
Jamie, Frida and their baby son spent some of the Christmas period with Jamie’s parents, Harry and Sandra Redknapp.
Clearly proud of her son and their new addition to the family, Sandra, 74, she took a snap of the pair and made sure to post it to her thousands of Instagram followers.
It showed Jamie, 48, dressed in a suit as his son sat on his lap donning a striped grey baby grow.
Sandra captioned the post with three red heart emojis.
But it appears she didn’t seek her son’s approval for the picture before uploading it for everyone to see.
Taking to the comments section, A League of Their Own star Jamie commented: “Mum please ask for permission to put pics up in future that was after a lot of [wine emoji] and not sure Raphael is too happy with it either,” followed by three laughing emojis.
Fans, however, were quick to gush over the adorable snap and tell Jamie: “That’s us Mums for you,” with another saying it was a “proud granny moment.”
On Christmas Day Jamie took to Instagram himself with a photo of his dad with baby Raphael.
“When Harry met Raphael,” the dad-of-three captioned the sweet image.
Jamie announced his son’s arrival on November 24.
“Meet Raphael Anders Redknapp, we’re so in love, mum is doing so well too,” he wrote alongside a photo of the newborn as they wore matching grey outfits.
“We can’t thank the amazing doctors and nurses at the Chelsea and Westminster enough. So excited for him to meet my boys.”
Jamie and Frida married in October in a surprise wedding ceremony in London.
