John Thomson celebrates 15 years sober and says it’s the greatest decision he’s ever made

John Thomson is ending the year by celebrating an important landmark in his life.

The Salford-born actor and comedian was all smiles as he marked 15 years sober – and he said it’s the ‘greatest life changing decision’ he’s ever made.

Cold Feet and The Fast Show star John posted a photo on his Instagram of himself smiling proudly as he held up a large ’15’ badge.

“Well who’d have thought! I’d have made it!” he wrote with the photo.

John, 52, who played children’s entertainer Jesse Chadwick in Coronation Street, was flooded with congratulations from his followers.
