Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter has shared a photo of her blossoming baby bump on a recent holiday with her fiance after announcing her joyful baby news. Jorgie has been flooded with congratulations after revealing she is expecting with entrepreneur Ollie Piotrowski.
In November the soap actress, from Eccles, revealed that she had suffered a tragic miscarriage with quadruplets. Last week she wrote ‘hopeful beginnings’ as she shared an adorable Instagram video showing their hands and their pet Doberman’s paws pulling away to reveal a baby scan.
She looked radiant in a photo taken on a ‘babymoon’ trip to Crete with her man as she relaxed on the beach in a teal green bikini. She wrote on her Instagram: “Revisiting our amazing holiday… babymoon . Was such an important time for us to get away and enjoy a rest together.”
Helen Flanagan responded with a love heart-eyes emoji and shannonlouise96ox said: “Your glowing, cute bump.” sophiezaramanicurist gasped: “Awwww your little bump!!” And lisahiggottbooth said: “Ooh check out the bump there xxx”
Sharing about her pregnancy with fans in another post Jorgie thanked well-wishers as she admitted it hadn’t been an ‘easy ride so far.’ She typed: “Thank you so much for all your lovely comments about our pregnancy news. We are beyond excited.
“It’s not been an easy ride so far and I don’t think we’ll ever feel completely relaxed until (baby emoji) is here. But with every week it starts to feel more and more real.”
On Saturday Jorgie, who plays Theresa McQueen in the Channel Four soap, cradled her bump on the red carpet at The British Soap Awards. And she shared a comical video of herself on the train to London as she told fans that she had made a mishap by forgetting her dress.
“I’m literally an idiot!!!” she exclaimed from her train seat as the drama unfolded on her Instagram. Over on Ollie’s Instagram he shared a photo of her outfit in a dress bag hanging on the back of a door as he said: “Six months of worrying about a dress and what to wear at these soap awards. She’s all packed gone off to the train in London and guess what she’s forgot?”
Her man then revealed he had come to her rescue with a video clip that appeared to show the dress packed safely on a train luggage rack on its way to Eccles actress Jorgie. “Cinderella will go to the ball,” he wrote.
The couple, who celebrated their engagement in February at Morley’s Hall, Astley, found love in 2020. Jorgie recently reflected on her Instagram: “We have been through a lot, these past two years … and still managed to laugh with eachother through all the tough times … love you best mate @olliepiotrowski.”
The couple shared the exciting news that they were engaged in December. The announcement came a few weeks after the star revealed their heartbreaking loss.
In August she and Ollie were heartbroken to find out at the 14-week scan there was no sign of life in any of the embryo sacs. The actress bravely reflected on their loss on her podcast Loose Lips.
