Stephen Colbert roasts Trumps answer on what wars worst case scenario could be

Stephen Colbert has responded to Trump answering a question about what the "worst case scenario" of the U.S.' war with Iran could be.

The U.S. may have launched "major combat operations" in Iran, but Trump is being surprisingly candid about the things that might go wrong.

"He was asked about what the war's 'worst case scenario' might be, and his answer was not the best," says Stephen Colbert in the Late Show clip above, playing footage of Trump telling reporters the worst case would be "we do this, then someone takes over who's as bad as the previous person."

"Yeah. Yeah, that could happen," says Colbert. "Because sometimes, you get a really bad guy out of office and then like four years later you get the same guy back. And he's somehow worse."
