The second option is less of a markdown and more of a strategic preorder for anyone trying to get ahead of the rush. The Pokémon TCG: First Partner Illustration Collection Series 1 is available to preorder for $64.75 and is set to release on March 20. 

This set, along with a booster pack each of Phantasmal Flames and Mega Evolution, includes one booster pack containing three of nine illustration rare-style promo cards themed around first partner Pokémon from the Kanto, Sinnoh, or Alola regions, plus a sticker sheet. 

Currently, this sits over $10 above its market price on TCGplayer, but Amazon's listing is still cheaper than most listings when shipping costs are considered. Because this is a limited collection, we expect the value of the First Partner Illustration Collection to go way up once there’s less availability after its release date.
