Samsung has been one of the first major smartphone makers to embrace foldable smartphones. Now, the company is reportedly looking to take the next step forward by launching a smartphone with a rollable screen.
Korea's Money Today (via SamMobile) claims that Samsung Display is in discussions to supply display panels for a rollable smartphone developed by Samsung Electronics (both companies are subsidiaries of the Samsung Group).

According to Money Today, the phone could launch in the first half of 2028; a successor is already planned, and that one could hit the market in 2030.
