Widely praised for its impressive battery life, the sleek Google Pixel 4 is one of the best mainstream fitness trackers and smart watches on the market, complete with built-in Gemini voice control. And for Prime Day, the Google Pixel Watch 4 (41mm) with an Iris Active Band and LTE is on sale for $345 (originally $449.99), bringing the price down by over $100.

Complete with Google’s signature domed AMOLED display, the Pixel 4 has a sleeker look than many bulkier Android smartwatches and offers top-notch health and fitness tracking through Fitbit integration. Users can access sleep tracking, workouts, ECG, heart rate monitoring, and wellness insights. It also comes with useful safety add-ons like fall detection and emergency SOS features. One of the biggest upgrades over its predecessor is the display, which features slimmer bezels, a more usable screen area, and increased brightness of up to 3,000 nits, compared to 2,000 nits on the previous model.
The main draw, however, is the improved battery life. According to this PCMag review, battery life lasts up to 56 hours in real-world testing with the always-on display enabled, outperforming similar flagship models from Apple and Samsung. The 41mm model now has a 325mAh battery (previously 306mAh) and recharges quickly, going from 5% remaining to full in just 43 minutes. Unlike most smartwatches, which use a flat magnetic puck, the Pixel 4 charges while resting on its side in the stand, allowing it to double as a bedside display.
The watch's internal components and sensors have also been upgraded, including support for satellite communications through its new chipset. Dual-frequency GPS improves location tracking accuracy compared to the single-band signal on the Pixel Watch 3. To use the Pixel Watch 4, you’ll need a phone with Android 11 or newer, and some features on the phone, like camera controls and call screening, are exclusive to Pixel phones. That said, most of the tracking capabilities are compatible with any Android phone.
If you’re an Android user who wants easy access to Gemini alongside a comprehensive range of lifestyle and fitness features, the stylish Google Pixel Watch 4, with a curved display and impressive battery life, is one of the top contenders if you’re in the market for a premium Android smartwatch, especially at over $100 off.
