The tools Anna DeGuzman uses to make her VidCon experience extra magical
Mashable's team spoke with close-up magician Anna DeGuzman at VidCon 2026 about her favorite tools for making her magic tricks shine online.

As a professional close-up magician and illusionist, Anna DeGuzman doesn’t need the help of any special edits to make her content look magic.
As a creator, however, she does make sure she’s stocked up with the right gear to make her content look its best for her 752,000 TikTok followers, 234,000 Instagram followers, and 36,600 YouTube subscribers.

iPhone 17 Pro
When it comes to filming, DeGuzman said, "The best camera is the one you have on you," and most of the time, that's her iPhone. Thankfully, it has the performance to match its convenience. “I love using my iPhone. Usually, the latest iPhone has a great camera, wide angle, pretty much flip it around over the FaceTime camera.” DeGuzman opted for silver for her 17 Pro.

DJI Osmo Pocket 3
DeGuzman called out a Mashable favorite, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. “I swear by it. It's honestly still small and compact enough that you can bring it everywhere, and the quality of it is just insane. [It also] has a built-in gimbal, which is amazing. That's why I love using it.”

CapCut
When it comes to editing short-form content, DeGuzman either keeps things native on TikTok or turns to CapCut. “CapCut has a lot of good stuff and captions if I really want to do fun fonts.”
