Voice assistants have become a standard feature on many wireless speakers, but not everyone wants a microphone listening for commands in their living room. That's the appeal of the Sonos One SL. It delivers the same audio hardware and Sonos ecosystem as the Sonos One, but without Alexa or any other built-in voice assistant. Right now, Woot is selling a grade A refurbished Sonos One SL for $104.99. For comparison, Amazon currently has the speaker listed for around $149 to $220 for a refurbished unit (and $299 for a new one), and according to price trackers, this deal also comes in below the previous low of roughly $129. The sale is expected to run for the next 10 days or until inventory sells out. Shipping is free for Prime members and $6 for everyone else. Woot describes the speaker as Grade A refurbished, meaning it has been tested, restored to near-new working condition, and should show little more than minor cosmetic wear.

The lack of a microphone is really the only major difference between the One SL and the Sonos One. Everything else remains the same, including support for Apple's AirPlay 2, Sonos' multi-room audio platform, and Trueplay room tuning. Audio quality remains one of its strongest attributes—inside are two Class-D amplifiers, a tweeter, and a mid-woofer that combine to produce a balanced sound with clear vocals, controlled bass, and enough volume to comfortably fill a bedroom, office, kitchen, or living room without sounding strained.
If you already own Sonos gear, the One SL becomes even more useful–two One SL speakers can be paired together for stereo sound, and they can also serve as rear surround speakers alongside compatible Sonos soundbars like the Beam. The main limitation is connectivity. Unlike newer Sonos products, the One SL doesn't support Bluetooth audio streaming, relying entirely on wifi or a wired Ethernet connection. If your home network goes down, so does the speaker. It also lacks support for hi-res audio formats. Still, for someone who wants a compact wireless speaker with excellent sound quality and no interest in voice assistants, the One SL remains one of the most straightforward entries into the Sonos ecosystem, especially at this price.
