Fleeing suspect captured after wild Range Rover chase across Los Angeles County
Video shows the black Range Rover weaving through traffic on the 101 Freeway before CHP officers rammed the SUV to end the chase in Montebello.
A suspect on the move was taken into custody Tuesday morning after leading California Highway Patrol officers on a high-speed chase through Los Angeles County.

The incident began around 7:15 a.m. when Santa Monica Police Department investigators attempted to take the driver of a black Range Rover who was allegedly involved in a road rage incident a couple of weeks ago into custody, according to police.
The driver exited the freeway into Koreatown and continued speeding through surface streets, at times crossing into opposing lanes and endangering morning commuters.

The Range Rover reportedly reached speeds exceeding 100 mph as the chase entered the San Gabriel Valley shortly before 8 a.m.
The pursuit ended in Montebello after the driver traveled into a center median and a trailing patrol vehicle rammed the SUV. Multiple officers surrounded the Range Rover and took the suspect into custody, according to the report.
Authorities have not identified the suspect or disclosed details about why he was being pursued.
