Keeping your pool clean and ready to use can be a full-time job, especially during the summer months. But if spending hours a week scooping up leaves and cleaning tiles doesn't appeal to you, there's another answer: a robot pool cleaner.

Similar to the ever-popular robot vacuums, these devices automatically keep your pool clean and maintained for regular use, with very little assistance needed from you. And as of July 16, there's a great deal on the Aiper Scuba S1 at Amazon, currently reduced by $200.

It's a handy pool cleaner that you can control through the app, with different cleaning modes for different needs. For example, Eco Mode provides up to 240–270 minutes of daily maintenance cleaning, while Auto, Floor, Wall and Scheduled modes offer up to 180 minutes for more intensive cleaning. You can also use the Scheduled mode to create a weekly cleaning plan.

And for navigation, the cleaner uses 11 high-precision sensors and dual-path algorithms to map the pool and follow an optimized WavePath cleaning pattern. This helps it to cover areas systematically, reducing the chance of missed spots or unnecessary overlap.

The Aiper Scuba S1 is currently priced at $499.99 at Amazon.
