73-year-old camper vanishes off the grid before his RV turns up in wilderness

Craig Streeter's empty RV was found at campsite 36 on Moose River Road in Inlet with no sign of recent activity, launching a multi-agency search.

A 73-year-old man has not been seen in more than three weeks after authorities found his empty RV at a remote Adirondack Mountains campsite in upstate New York, state troopers said.

According to the New York State Police (NYSP), Craig K. Streeter, of Mahopac, was last seen Aug. 2 at a Stewart’s Shop in Indian Lake.

Police say it's not unusual for him to go off the grid for short periods, but he hasn't been contacted in weeks.
