WWE legend Torrie Wilson nearly retired from posting sexy photos after a call from a so-called friend
Torrie Wilson reveals a friend's unsolicited advice nearly ended her bikini posts, but her Passes page helped the WWE Hall of Famer find confidence.
Last summer, Torrie Wilson toed the rubber and proved that she still had her fastball as she turned 50. The WWE legend has continued to lead the way for an entire generation.
On Saturday, she revealed just how close to retiring from posting bikini content she came. It started a few years ago with a call from a friend. A friend with terrible advice.
Wilson, who just turned 51 in July, said this friend thought she needed to hear that she didn't have to post "sexy" photos anymore. Can you believe the level of self-importance to think you need to make a call like that?

"Honestly? It stung. I felt judged by someone I cared about, and for a long time, I stopped posting altogether," she wrote.
"What hurt the most was that, at that point in my life, I finally felt free—free to embrace my femininity, my confidence, and the work I’d put into taking care of myself."
The "provocative" photo Torrie's so-called friend was referring to and caused her to feel the need to call the WWE Hall of Famer was one of her in a bikini.

"I let that conversation live in my head for far too long," she continued. "Then one day, something clicked. (Ironically, my fun page on Passes helped me find that confidence again.)"
Wilson finally decided that she wasn't going to be held back. She had put in 37 years of work lifting weights, eating right, and showing up when she didn't feel like it. If she wanted to slip into a bikini and post it on the internet, she was going to.
"I'm not celebrating perfection. I'm celebrating discipline, consistency, health, and feeling at home in my own skin," she added. "And I refuse to apologize for that anymore."
Does Torrie Wilson have to post bikini photos? Of course not. But what this friend of hers, who passed along the ill-advised and unsolicited advice, failed to recognize was that she wanted to.
She still wants to and, thanks to some soul-searching through her exclusive content, she didn’t call it quits. She's still adding to her legacy and showing the jealous friend of hers that she'll hang up the bikinis when she's ready to.
