More than 10,000 users began reporting issues shortly after 9 a.m. ET, according to Downdetector.
Elevated errors were confirmed on Claude.ai, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and Claude's API, according to Anthropic's status page.
Users attempting to use the services "may see failed requests, errors loading or sending conversations, or be asked to sign in again," according to Anthropic. However, retrying may succeed, the company notes.
