Legos are notoriously expensive, and holiday-themed Legos can get notoriously difficult to get, especially for gift shopping.

My tip? Buy in advance where you can. For any Star Wars Lego fans in your life, a great opportunity to do exactly that is here: as of Sept. 14, the Lego Star Wars advent calendar is on sale at Amazon for $35, bringing its $45 list price down 22% (and to its lowest point ever).

This set in particular is themed around The Mandalorian, featuring the titular character and Grogu in holiday sweaters, as well as other classic characters like Moff Gideon and Carson Teva. Other accessories include vehicles and key objects from the show, so you can slowly build out your own universe.

All told, the set has 24 days to open and 293 pieces total. At the time of writing, the set is still at full price on Lego's website and Target. Plus it's just ever so slightly cheaper than the newly unveiled $800 Star Destroyer.
