iPhone 18 price report: Apple confirms price hikes
Apple announced the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max on Sept. 9. The phones come with a price increase over last year's models.
Last month, we reported that Apple would likely be raising iPhone prices after raising MacBook and iPad prices earlier this summer. And now that the annual September Apple event is here, we can confirm that the iPhone 18 Pro line has fallen victim to price hikes.
We speculated that Apple might raise phone prices by $100 to stay in line with Samsung's and Google's increases — or, as Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said, that Apple might feel like it could get away with higher price hikes than competitors thanks to the company's new Upgrade program. Apple's "Surprise and Shine" keynote has confirmed a $100 increase for the Pro and Pro Max models.

The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max were announced on Sept. 9. The base model iPhone 18 will be announced at a later date. The new phones have the following MSRPs:
iPhone 18 Pro: Starting at $1,199 (a $100 increase over the iPhone 17 Pro)
iPhone 18 Pro Max: Starting at $1,299 (a $100 increase over the iPhone 17 Pro Max)
