Netflix drops trailer for 'The Mosquito Bowl' with Peter Berg directing WWII football epic

The trailer for Netflix's new movie "The Mosquito Bowl" has arrived.

There has been significant buzz surrounding "The Mosquito Bowl" ever since it was announced that Netflix was making the series with Peter Berg directing.

Berg is one of the most successful minds in Hollywood, and is responsible for hits like "Friday Night Lights" and "Lone Survivor."

Now, he's bringing viewers the true story of football players turned Marines playing a game overseas during WWII.

The Mosquito Bowl famously featured first round pick Tony Butkovich, who chose to join the Marines over playing in the NFL. He was later killed in action in the fighting in the Pacific Theater.
