Portable power stations can be awesome when grid power fails. Instead of sitting in the dark worrying about a depleting phone battery, we can recharge gadgets and keep lights on thanks to the help of a power station.

Jackery has a great lineup of options, like the Jackery FridgeGuard, a model that's specially designed to keep the refrigerator cooling. But the brand's latest releases focus on home power backup with a special collaboration with the American Red Cross.

Power outages are a common occurrence in situations where the Red Cross comes to assist. Natural disasters like hurricanes and earthquakes are both instances when grid power fails and the Red Cross comes in to offer help. Naturally, this collaboration with Jackery focuses on models that excel with power outages when it matters most.

Jackery mentions these models offer critical power during disasters to aid the community and first responders. In fact, Jackery is donating 10 percent of all Red Cross model profits to emergency response workers.

The collab includes three models, and Jackery launched the two smaller models today. The largest, the HomePower 3600 Plus Red Cross Edition, will begin shipping in early November. Here are all the details to note about each model.

Jackery HomePower 1000 Plus v2 Red Cross Edition

The smallest model included in the collab is the HomePower 1000 Plus v2. Of course, it comes in the great red colorway Jackery chose for these models, but it also comes with great features for us to use at home during outages and for first responders to use during emergencies.

With 1,024Wh of battery capacity, it's ideal for shorter home power outages or packing along for a weekend of camping outdoors. Thanks to its 1,800W output and 3,600W peak, it's also awesome for using with power tools. This model also comes with Jackery's Storm alerts and emergency power reserve. When the Jackery app's location services get notice of severe weather in the forecast, it'll automatically charge the power station to 100 percent.

Jackery HomePower 2000 Plus v2 Red Cross Edition

Doubling the power capacity of the HomePower 1000 Plus v2, the HP 2000 v2 packs in 2,048Wh, which is great for longer outages. Plus, the v2 model of this unit is significantly lighter and easier to carry compared to the original. In quiet mode, it only records noise of up to 30 decibels, making it nearly unnoticeable when in the same room.

If, in the future, you decide you need more power, the Jackery HomePower 2000 Plus v2 can expand with the Jackery Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2 up to 12kWh.

Jackery HomePower 3600Plus Red Cross Edition

The largest model in the collaboration is the Jackery HomePower 3600Plus Red Cross Edition with a massive 3,284Wh in a unit that has durable wheels and a telescoping handle. Jackery plans to launch this model in early November with a price of $1,899.

This is an ideal model if you'll be powering up heavier appliances during a power outage, like a portable air conditioner or a space heater.
