$78.95 Save $8.11   Get Deal

Out of the three First Partner Illustration Collections that Pokémon has dropped, Series 1 is by far the most valuable (due to the highly sought Gen-1 starter SIRs). So — just like with the 30th Celebration expansion — we recommended checking out Amazon to get this surprise deal while stocks last.

As of Sept. 17, the Pokémon TCG First Partner Illustration Collection Series 1 is $70.84 on Amazon from third-party seller Collectors Expedition, representing a 10% discount. With $8.11 off its list price of $78.95, that’s the lowest price we’ve seen since March this year. Deals like this will likely become increasingly rare, given how obscure the Series 1 stock has become since its launch.

Series 1 is particularly geared towards anyone whose favorite starter lineups come from Kanto, Sinnoh, or Alola. Inside is one special booster containing three randomly selected trading cards from a pool of nine illustration rare-style promos, each pack covering the first partner Pokémon from those three regions.

To be clear, one box won't hand you all nine promos, so completing the set means opening multiple collections or trading for the starters you don't pull.

There is more than just the promo pack inside. Series 1 includes two standard Pokémon TCG booster packs — one Mega Evolution and one Phantasmal Flames — alongside a sticker sheet featuring first partner Pokémon.

TCGplayer offers an even lower price — with listings now as low as $66.99. Meanwhile, Walmart has gone even lower at $62.91, undercutting TCGplayer’s estimated market price of $64.37 for the box.

That said, if it’s only the promo cards you’re trying to buy (like Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle), you can pick up any single Partner Illustration Collection card right now at TCGplayer
