Just a day out from the official launch of October Prime Day, and Amazon continues to stack up the early deals. That includes discounts on the retailer's own devices, including this Kindle 16GB (2024).

This discount is doubly appealing because Kindle prices have surged due to the tech crunch known as RAMageddon. If you're looking for a new Kindle but don't want to pay top dollar for the latest model, this is a superb deal.

As of Oct. 5, the Kindle 16GB (2024) is marked down to $103.99, which gives you $46 off the regular list price of $149.99.
