Hayden Panettiere’s death ruled accidental, police say
Greenville police close Hayden Panettiere death investigation after medical examiner determines actress’ death was accidental.
Police announced on Wednesday that actress Hayden Panettiere’s death has been ruled accidental.
"Based on the Medical Examiner’s determination and the findings of the investigation, Hayden Panettiere’s death has been ruled accidental," the Greenville Police Department said in a statement.
The ruling brings the police investigation into her death to a close, the statement said.
Panettiere died on Aug. 16 at age 36. She was found unresponsive at an apartment in Greenville, South Carolina.
