Roku’s first OLED TV is already considerably cheaper than many competing models, and Amazon has now dropped the 65-inch Pro Series OLED to an even lower $799 from $1,199, taking $400 off and bringing it to its lowest price on record, according to price trackers. For that price, you’re getting a 4K OLED panel that delivers deep blacks and excellent contrast, though at around 496 nits, it’s relatively dim, meaning darker scenes can lose detail in rooms with plenty of sunlight or ambient light.

Where the Pro Series OLED makes a stronger case for itself is gaming—its 120Hz refresh rate, VRR support, and AMD FreeSync Premium help keep fast-moving games looking smooth, with this PCMag review measuring an input lag of just 4.8 milliseconds at 1080p/120Hz and 8.8 milliseconds at 4K/60Hz, earning it the publication’s Lab Award for lowest input lag. That translates to very little delay between pressing a button and seeing the action onscreen, which is especially useful in racing games and competitive shooters. You also get four HDMI ports and support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG, although Nvidia G-Sync support is absent.

Outside gaming, the TV runs Roku’s own OS, whose straightforward interface puts your streaming apps front and center without burying them beneath endless recommendations—and it supports nearly every major streaming service except Twitch, along with AirPlay for casting from an iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Beyond streaming, you get Wi-Fi 5 for wireless connectivity and an ATSC 1.0 tuner for watching over-the-air broadcasts, although one convenience that's missing is hands-free voice control, so you'll need to use the remote for voice commands.
