Daily Show roasts Elon Musk for wasting $500 million on the midterms
"The Daily Show" host Michael Kosta has roasted Elon Musk, whose large donations to Republicans failed to yield the results he wanted in the midterm elections.
The Daily Show's Michael Kosta had a lot to unpack from this week's midterm elections, but he made sure to spend a moment roasting Elon Musk, whose large spending on the election failed to get him any of the results he wanted.
"Poor Elon. Half a billion dollars and absolutely nothing to show for it. That could have been three whole days of child support for him," says Kosta in the clip above.
"Although I'd like to thank him for making the rest of us look great with money, right? Now when my wife is mad that I bought that new WaveRunner I can be like, 'Well at least I didn't spend $500 million trying to get a sloppy pervert elected in Texas.'"
