Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan is hosting SNL UK this week, four weeks after she had a cameo appearance in the first episode during Tina Fey's monologue — but you'd think she'd been away for years.

In the clip above Coughlan enters the stage with exaggerated nostalgia, greeting cast members Hammed Animashaun and Annabel Marlow as if she hasn't seen them in years.

"I don't even know if you guys remember me," she says. "It's Nicola Coughlan. I was actually here for the first ever episode of SNL UK."

A few moments later, after she's dismissed everyone, the host takes some time to yell at the empty theater.

"I'm back!" Coughlan cries. "Finally! Take that, Tina Fey! I'm the captain now."
